LOS ALAMOS

For the Planners out there, here are a few good things to know about

staying in Los Alamos.

Our charming little town is filled with plenty of fabulous restaurants, shoppes and wine tasting establishments to fill your days with all that a stay in wine country has to offer.

The walk to town from The Forage House is very short (only about 15 minutes.) PLEASE USE CAUTION. The highway entrance has some fast drivers.

We like to remind our guests that Los Alamos is a sleepy town in the evenings and convenience type stores close early. 

One can easily find themselves hungry in Los Alamos at night after 9pm so plan accordingly.  We are proud to offer our private shopper, please inquire for details

There is a Community Health Clinic in town with regular office hours and the nearest pharmacy is CVS in Buellton (14 miles south on the 101)

The nearest Emergency Room would be in Santa Maria (18 Miles)

The Forage House offers personal shopping with order cut-off by 3pm. Orders placed after 3pm will likely be filled the next day.
